is a Brazilian-born artist who dances, choreographs, teaches, collaborates, and do all kinds of other stuff, from spinach tofu pie to handmade hats. She has been performing around the world for more than 15 years. Her collaborators include dancers, actors, video artists, musicians, and video-makers. Raquel is going to earn her Master's degree from NYU in Dance Education in May, 2010. She is also an Alexander Technique teacher, and a mother of two beautiful girls. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY, but spends most summers working in Brazil and enjoying life there.
